about
Was written about a ‘trip’ we took whilst in Whistler on our respective post uni adventures. Perched on an abandoned cat-track, overviewing the pristine Whistler mountain ranges, we watched one of the most amazing transformations of light and colour any of us had ever seen. For hours we watched the sky consume the land below in an awe inspiring natural display that left us with a new perspective and adoration of the environment around us. It wasn’t until later that night that we realized that our experience had coincided with our grad ceremonies back in Oz and that the person we’d thought was Elliot was actually a cat.
lyrics
Days are gone
See the trees that breathe on their own
Resting still they carry no load
See the trees that breathe on their own
Head stop spinning what will we know
Look from above to way down below
Head stop spinning what will we know
Neon colours on snow
Here we lie to watch them glow
Neon colours on snow
High…………
Neon colours on snow
Here we lie to watch them glow
Neon colours on snow
Days are gone
