about
The song was written about the intoxicating influence held by the sand islands of Belize and the Caribbean party atmosphere that greeted us upon arrival. Beach side bars that ran into pristine waters, sailing trips to remote reefs and cups that continually flowed to bursting with ‘Jungle Punch’, had us swimming in a paradise we hadn’t known existed. If it wasn’t for Lach’s foray into small arms dealing and a drugs charge we’d probably still be there.
lyrics
There’s a house I know on a street I like
Where flame trees block out a summer light
I pour out your days drinking jungle punch and ice
Them cool grass nights and the summer highs
There’s a bar I know by the water’s edge
Sweet salt air licks at lovers legs
I pour out your days drinking jungle punch and ice
Dance possessed into the morning light
When it’s all said and done
Would you stay or would you run if I……..
Made you sick off the jungle punch
Left my heart next to your lunch on the ground……
When it’s all said and done
Would you stay or would you run if I……..
Made you sick off the jungle punch
Left my heart next to your lunch on the ground……
